In the normal: the distribution is shaped like a bell.

In the standard normal: the distribution is shaped like a bell, but the mean is 0 and one standard deviation is one.

In a probability distribution: the probabilities could be normal or skewed, basically it's just a distribution of probabilities.

ok, in no longer-so-complicated words, the conventional distribution is generally common around linear/analog measurements of a pattern's function overall performance the place the binomial distribution cares purely related to the characteristic documents of the pattern (pass/fail, good/undesirable, etc). you are able to calculate skill and common deviations of the two, yet they're very diverse from one yet another. Separate them on your head as binomial = qualitative (high quality) and customary = quantative (quantity). good success!
