Why did my internet all of a sudden slow down???? 5*+ best answer if you can fix it!!!!?
okay, so yesterday my internet was running as fast as it usually dose, so was my mom's and sister's today my mom tried to get on her computer and shes kept saying it was really really slow so she thought it was her computer then i tried and mine was as slow, if not slower, than hers. same thing with my sister. we tried unplugging the modem (2wire774) is our modem name. and the phone line that went to it. that sped it up for a few minuets. then back to slow.
it started raining about an hour before it started going slow maybe that has has something to do with it but now it hasn't rained in 2 days..
the odd thing is if i plug an Ethernet cord into my laptop it runs at the same speed as it use to.
or a "bad ip"? mine is 165.168.1.65
i have AT&T high speed
the signal strength is excellent
we have unlimited broadband
i have virus scanned my computer, deleted my internet temp. files, windows temp files, and defragged my computer.
someone please help me??? thanks.

your best bet is to contact you service provider at AT&T customer service at 800-331-0500 just for your information giving your IP address is a dangerous thing to do. I did a google search at IP address 165.168.1.65

Um dude a hundred and twenty gb harddisk is the bottom of the low until it's cast state. Get that up-to-date to alteast 320 or 500 /(does not ought to be cast state). Get the ram up-to-date too. And its referred to as age. TRy going to manipulate panel, upload or dispose of systems, and delete a few needless crap. Then delete ancient documents and feature the least quantity of matters to your computer. The extra you obtained the extra it slows ya down. Just spend like one hundred fifty greenbacks on a laptop guy puting in new intels and hardrives for you. That is all you'll do buddy. GL!
