is there a kind of food that you can advise just like when a person has hangover from drinking. i have a hangover from travelling.

Water is said to be best for hydrating. Many people swear by stuff like gatorade. I always drink juice. Caffeine and stimulants like it will make you feel more awake and more antsy or wired. If you just want to get going they might work if you're not too tired. But they dehydrate you so don't drink them on the plane. Same thing for alcohol.

Food or drink can never combat against jet lag.

ummmmm..... coffee? Red bull? Caffine?
I think thats as close as your going to get. Jet leg is pretty inevitable when travelling really long distances.
