What is the meaning of Earth Day in USA tomorrow?

It is a day for honoring the earth. For example, in my geography class we went around the campus and picked up trash. Many people plant trees and stuff. It is also a day to recognize the problems that the earth faces and trying to do little things that we can. Though many people just sit on their lazy asses and don't do anything

For me, earthday is everyday, i pick up litter everyday and try to save the earth. Many people are just studying planets to figure were we can move when the earth dies out BECAUSE OF HUMANS. Earthday is for people that dont really have time to or dont really help with the earth. So now people can clean up town, plant tree, ( much needed in boston we had to cut down an extreme number of tree because a bug somebody put in a box and gave to our town, it kills all the trees and has eggs in them so we had to cut them down. ), plant gradens, pick up litter, and try to make it so the earth will last, atleast a little longer.
