Is there anyway to recover emails from a hotmail account that isn't active anymore?

I have an old hotmail account that i need some emails out of my inbox and the account doesnt seem to be active anymore cause my login id wont work. ive already contacted microsoft and got the ring-around by people in pakistan in customer support so i need to know if there is anyone that has anyother way of getting them back.

    Your old account has already been removed from the servers due to an extended period of inactivity. I am sorry to say that you can no longer reinstate your old account and retrieve its contents. Messages deleted due to inactivity are purged from the servers and are unrecoverable.
