Yes, the FA/Carling Cup winner will get a Europa League qualification spot irregardless of which league they represent.

    Zahir:

You are mistaken. Portsmouth's situation has been complicated since they had been put under adminstration and their licence to play in Europe has been revoked.

It's not because they will be relegated.

Portsmouth has already submitted their request to play in Europe since Chelsea had already qualified for the CL.

No probability with out™ Kenny a splash fact correction. If golf equipment like Birmingham win the League Cup and get relegated, they're going to nonetheless qualify for the Europa Cup. till the club is going into administration. And Everton replaced into no longer demoted to the Europa Cup. On that season, 5 golf equipment qualified for the CL. Everton merely have been given knocked out from the CL Qualifying ranges. For the question: 5th spot, League and FA Cup winners qualify for the Europa League. If the League or FA Cup winners already had already qualified by using end interior the CL spots or 5th itself, them golf equipment ending 6th and seventh will qualify for the Europa League. Like final season, Liverpool complete seventh yet qualified because of the fact that Chelsea gained the FA Cup and guy United gained the League Cup.

That is the question being considered right now with Portsmouth, who are inevitably going to get relegated getting a Europa league spot as Chelsea, their opponents, are already in the champions league. we shall wait and see but personally i think it should work that way.
