Job with 2 bank accounts.?

I have been offered a job in Melbourne with a club and i am a bit worried about some of the practices. I only work weekends but i will be getting paid really well, well, sort of. I need 2 bank accounts and can't discuss my pay with anyone. I need to sign two contracts, and can't disclose either of them to anyone at all. I have no experience in the industry, but apparently they are really desperate at the moment for new employees as they feel a fair few will be leaving towards the end of the year. Any advice people......

Turn it down. Your potential employer might be insolvent by the end of the year.

It depend on the type of checking or saving account that you want, this because there are many rules to this game, if not the bank is going to charge you for every little transaction conducted. 1. You need to have a minimum balance in the account in some cases in other for the account to exist. 2. You must never write more than a certain number of checks a month or a week. 3. There debit card transactions beyond a certain number is also charge. 4. Anytime you conduct a transaction at a private ATM you will be charged a fee. 5. In some cases you will be charged a monthly finance fee. Well if you are a beginner and you intend to save only, open a saving account and monitor.

Oh, this question was a joke, huh? Well, if you are in the football industry, then yes you are better off having two accounts: one bank account at home receiving pay showing your low salary, and one oversea in Sweden banks showing your real pay. This is the only moral story of the joke I could think of.

So what is the question here? I am not sure why you would need 2 different banks accounts to receive pay for a job. Will you work for two different departments? Will the job labor cost be divided by two owners - which is typical in restaurant and service industry (costs will be divided by the venue owner and the event organizer)? Considering that you receive multiple disbursements for each pay period, you would not need two bank accounts.

But let's say you need this job badly and you just need to have two (2) accounts to satisfy their stupid accounting and bookkeeping requirement. I do not see it would be a problem since there are many offers for free checking accounts these days. Check your local market for these offers.
