Replacement of alternator belt.
Alternator pulley seems to be seized.
What is the best way to free it up?

there is a tensioner that u can use a 14mm spanner to loosen the serpentine belt with.
that is how the replacement is done.
do not try to force it as if u loosen the tensioner the belt will come right off...!

spray some pb blaster around the pulley where the bearing is at and put a wrench on the big nut and work it back and forth.

Replace the alternator, especially if it will not turn once the belt has been removed.

thats why the belt failed, you need to buy a new alternator, install it and install the new belt
