If you are a mac user, i think you can choose iDVD. iDVD allows you to add QuickTime Movies, MP3 music, and digital photos to a DVD that can then be played on a commercial DVD player. Alternatively, you use windows os. you would better try Windows DVD Maker. Here are details for types of files can be burned with Windows DVD Maker:
* Video files: '.asf', '.avi', '.dvr-ms', '.m1v', '.mp2', '.mp2v', '.mpe', '.mpeg', '.mpg', '.mpv2', '.wm', and '.wmv'.
* Audio files: '.aif', '.aifc', '.aiff', '.asf', '.au', '.mp2', '.mp3', '.mpa', '.snd', '.wav', and '.wma'.
* Picture files: '.bmp', '.dib', '.emf', '.gif', '.jfif', '.jpe', '.jpeg', '.jpg', '.png', '.tif', '.tiff', and '.wmf'.
However, there is a much more easier and professional DVD burner to your selection.

There's a wide variety of ways to download movies... BitTorrent, Peer-to-Peer, and my personal favorite, Usenet Newsgroups. The first two can be slow and unreliable, and the latter is always good. Once you have the movie downloaded, you have to find an application to burn it for you. Probably the most versatile application is Nero Ultra, as it can burn Images (ISO), DVD Files (VOB, BUP) and Media files (AVI, MPG, WMV) for you... and all without too much hassle.
