You're not. I am sorry to tell you this, but wow, this is a very competitive business, and since the recession has hit, you have very talented hungry people trying to do the same thing you are attempting. Unless you have a lot of money for advertising, and marketing, it's going to be very, very tough.

Now that I have painted a bad picture, this is the USA, and anything is do-able. If you are not microsoft certified, at least, no one will talk to you. (That's for sure). Start there first and see what the opportunities are.

There are literally hundreds of 'top' IT consulting firms. Do you have the necessary qualifications to compete with those hundreds of others?
