kitchen cabinet uniform building codes?
My landlord is remodeling my kitchen and he is installing the cabinets so high that nobody can reach them. Are there building codes governing the placement of kitchen cabinets? If so what are the ones related to accessibility?

I would never go to Lowes or Home depot, despite what the comercials say I have yet to see any profesinals that work there. I don't care what other people say about the exeriance they have had there, I built a custom house with everything bought at lowes down to the trim, these people do not know how to figure anyhting especially cabinets. What I am trying to say is stay the H E L L away from Lowes or Home Depot. Building Cabinets is very time consuming especially if you don't have the right tools. One guy recomended just a face lift great idea you could have a profesinal do that or DIY, but once again very time consuming but you would save a lot of cash. My advice is to go to a custom cabinet shop and have them give you a bid (they will do that for free) and then go to a real Lumber yard and have them give you a bid on pre made cabinets. Then compare your bids to what it would cost to build them your self you might be suprised. I hope this helps Good luck.
