can you help me with this word please?

this is how i hear it:

Pole-tick-ised

Lol, i could be way off, i tried all the ways i could think of spelling it into google, but all that came up was politicised :P blaah.

if you could tell me how to properly spell the word, that would help me aloot!

Update:

i don't remember the sentence i only heard the word; and that pulled my attention bcoz i had heard it before and wanted to know the def, but i can say it definitley isn't anything to do with politicised or politics or anything, Thanks though.
