Canon is good but the HP G-4010 is cheaper and works very fast. Here is the link

That scanner doe up to 14" legal size and secondly, it has a good high dpi and scans to pdf as well. It does slides, negatives etc...

I am using Canon MP 145 Print Scan Copy. Good clartiy, excellent performance.

Canon is good in both printers & scanners.. It you need really a good one.. Choose canon
