train tracking real time?

is there a way to access where a frieght train while in transit online with displayed movement as in what direction and current speed

    Yes. There is a program called ATCS Monitor that will show where trains are and where they are going. You have to be a member of the ATCS Monitor Yahoo! Group to get it, though.

    If it's a Union Pacific train, then yes. You'll have to contact their headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.
