Hi Friends., I suspect my cell phone is tapped...?
I am using Airtel mobile service. For the past 6 months, im talking to my friend about many important business matters. When we are talking, we can hear a TIP, TIP sound once in 10 minutes and 15 minutes. Some times, our voice is also gets Echo. More surprisingly, when we talk anything, for example like Online Internet job and web designing, then the next day from some number we get SMS that talks about that Online Job and web designs. I suspect that our cell phone is trapped.
Please let me know how can i prevent our cell phone tapping and what other means i can do to stop the tapping. Should i use any software or use any devise? thank you in advance...

My dear young man....
I agree with Avi and doubt seriously that your phone is "tapped" bay....after all you're NOT some "Big shot" top-secret-FBI-Agent.....-smile- and as the person above me has mentioned...they must get permission to do so...and not unless you're a BIG-time-"criminal"...there's no need to go through the effort to tap your phone...
Obviously there must just be a "bad line" which makes "noises" from time to time...this happens to my phone sometimes as well and I don't get "frantic" about it...as long as you're not doing something "illegal"...don't worry babe !!! Just continue as before...I'm sure all is well...
Send you warm greetings from Germany with all my care, concern and my LOVE...Annette***

If he used your phone in the past, there would be no point in tapping your phone now. Not to mention, while you may think this is the case of the century, the police aren't putting a tap on anyones phone for a BS assault charge, LOL. This is a minor, waste of time case. The cops have no doubt moved on, the case will be disposed of in due time. Taps, wires etc are used for "real" cases, cases that are ongoing and require the gathering of more evidence. they cost money, take time and resources to monitor, transcribe, file etc. All things they are not going to do with your friends lousy little assault rap. I think you can go back to sleeping at night.

to tap a cellphone you need the help of service provider, only govt people like CBI or other investigating agencies can do such a thing or the service provider can do such a thing.i doubt your phone is tapped.
why not call the service provider on it's toll free number and discuss with them.you should have called them instead of asking questions here.
