What kind of guitar bridge do i want?

Ok, so I have a Ibanez RGA42FM and it has a certain bridge that allows you to down tune it to drop C and B. I previously had a Jackson that you couldn't do that with. Can someone please tell me which bridge type you can down tune with.

You should be able to down tune with almost any bridge, it depends more on the string gauge and the action of the guitar

actually, you can tune down with any bridge. its the tuning system. for example...

on a floyd rose u have to untighten the parts at the nut in order for you to use the actual machine heads

on a saddle, and string thru, its all on the machine heads

basically, if you have a locking tuner, all you have to do is "unlock" it and you willl be able to change the tuning.
