I went on Face book and my laptop froze, it did this three times and then gave me the blue screen of death.?
My reboot disk is faulty and my laptop is a 3 year old Toshiba, and I don't think I can get another one. and I don't know that Geek squad can fix it without it, any ideas?

If you do end up taking it to a repair shop, I suggest PC EMT. They are very smart and don't charge too much, unlike geek squad.
If you have the windows install cd, boot with that and choose repair installation in the menu.

Linux makes some OS recovery programs you can download and burn to cd. In the event you can´t save or recover your data or hard drive don´t throw away your laptop yet. I´ve been running my laptop with out a hard drive for weeks. Check out http://distrowatch.com/ find a live cd os. Download, burn to cd, and reboot your computer. They´re all free and fun to play with. I chose MCNLive.
You´ll need an iso burner program but they´re all free and all over the web. Best of luck.

Use system restore opening pc at safe mode
during startup keep pressing f8
then there...chose safe mode
and when you get it do the restore
