Need feng shui advice for bathroom...?

I just moved into a new appartment and the upstairs bathroom is painted this horrible chocolate brown with yellow accents. The bathroom is located in the NE- Career/Knowledge area of the upstairs layout. Blue/black is reccomended but I'm just wondering if that would be too much water energy going on. And if so how & with what element would I counter that? What do you think? Anyone have any tips or advice? Suggestions?

NE is good. Earth elements, especially water colors and accents are best for a bathroom. Tell me the size, tile colors and mirrors (+position(s)) door, toilet and sink color and position, and I'll give you precise information.

Feel free to write to me. Joy Jian.....

first the bagua method is not a fengshui method, at least no fengshui masters out there teach it. i know it has been published in many books. but still, i just have not encountered a good fengshui practitioner that practices this method. so, northeast is not the career/knowledge.

second, colors do not have anything to do with fengshui. fengshui is not that simple. the only thing that colors has something to do with fengshui is that, bright colors can activate both good and bad energy.

fengshui is about energy. the important thing about a bathroom is that it contains waste/feces, so this can have a bad effect on the room near to this, esp if it is a bedroom - the bathroom must be enclosed by another room going to the bedroom, without its doors having a straight path to the other doors.

the toilet bowl should not be in a straight path with: 1. where money stays, like vault/safe, 2. the main door of whole house 3. where people stays like bed/sofa; with or without a wall in between the toilet and these.

too much water - again, fengshui is about the unseen energy, which can only be calculated using fengshui methods like flying stars method, and how this unseen energy interact and react with the physical element, in this case water. so water in the bathroom reacts and interacts with the energy combination present in your bathroom. there is no such thing as a general energy. each energy in every location in your house is distinct and unique - which can be good or be bad for you.
