Anyone else think Talladega and Daytona are jokes?

I disagree. With restrictor plates racing, the horsepower curve is minimized, it's more of a drivers race, make the right decisions, hook up with the right guys, make the right moves, and you have a better chance of winning.

As opposed to one car out in front by 5 seconds at the finish. This is exciting stuff. I typically fall asleep during a long race (at home obviously not at the race, that's impossible) but definitely not today, this was a great race from beginning to end, lots of intense action.

If Talladega and Daytona is not racing, don't call me a race fan. Without restrictor plates NASCAR would be so incredibly boring I doubt I would watch very much. Intermediates are a snooze, short tracks are overrated, road courses are for IndyCars.

no mbl, anyone who constantly complains about how boring and stupid something is, yet continues to watch it anyway, instead of watching or doing something else, as you've been doing all week, is whining. most people who disagree with me and think restrictor plate racing is boring, will just simply choose not to watch. someone who is not a whiner might post one question or answer about how they don't like it. but anyone who posts 10 answers or more in about 2 days as you have about how much talladega sucks is most definately whining. and i know for a fact i cannot possibly be the only person on here sick of reading your whiney answers about it. you don't like talladega, you've made that perfectly clear with the first 15 or 20 times you've said it this week, we get it. now do us all a favor and STFU about it.

Absolutely One Hundred Percent Agree. 'Dega is the most boring car race of the whole season in my opinion. Lame. I don't agree actually that taking the plates off would be a good idea. I just agree that this type of racing is a joke.
