Looking for work in skiathos?
Me and my partner have been thinking about looking for work in skiathos,as he went there last year,but he went too late in the season and then they didn't have much work,we are living in Athens and there is not enough work here.When would gthe best time be to go skiathios and will they have quite alot of work?or would another island be better?

Millions jobless in the streets. Crisis and bankruptcy. Foreign embassies suggest avoiding Greece.

The best time is between the end of April and End of May.. You should try some of the bigger islands such as Naxos, Mykonos, Cos, Crete, and Rhodes.. They are really busy islands and I am sure you'll be able to find work.

i don't really know about skiathos... but i have some experience from other islands... the sooner the better. this period-end of April, beggining of May- is a very good time to start looking. and even if you don't find anything there will be time to look elsewere. about June most jobs are already taken.
just to give you some idea.
