Yugioh Rate / Fix My Gladiator Beast Deck?

Hey. Here's my deck list:

If you don't have money for Prisma or Retiari, then replace them with a My Body and a 3rd Book. Also, Waboku is better than TR against all decks except other GB's, so side the Threatening Roars. And Oppression shouldn't be in your side deck, as it hurts your own deck more than it hurts your opponent's deck. I hope this helps!

remarkable deck. purely attempt out those small innovations. - x1 Gladiator Beast Secutor - x1 huge Trunade - x1 Prohibition + Mystical area hurricane + Enemy Controller + Gladiator Proving floor or Indomitable Gladiator Beast - x1 Spell shelter type-8 + Waboku or Gladiator Beast conflict Chariot

not a bad deck overall so far. i'd say a good 7/10. some suggestions would be:

+1 Gladiator Beast Secutor

3 Laquari is nice, but having a Secutor i feel is much better as you can get Heraklinos out WAY fast if you do a combo like so: Secutor with effect on field with a Book of Moon or Waboku. Atk ur opp then activate effect to summon 2 GB's. get laquari and usuelally bestiari (to destroy a trap) then contact fuse to tag out for Heraklinos. I've pulled this off on my first turn many times (with help from Rescue Cat, you'd get a Samnite and Test Tiger out and tag for Secutor).

Rescue cat is tehre for the strategy above but also for Samnite beatdown. if your opponent has no mosnters on the field and you draw a Giant Trunade and Rescue cat, Bam that's 3200 atk direct AND you get to tag out double. Rescue cat speeds up ur GB's effect too so get ur hands on itt.

I woudln't run too many non-GB's. you wanna get the most out of ur GB's effect. You wanna keep the synergy of the deck flowing so I would take out Cyber Dragon (even tho it's rlly nice to have a free summon). drawing 2 test tigers itself in ur first draw is pretty rough.

Retiari is VERY useful (it can be quite expensive tho). Remove from play their monsters that they puposefully discard to special summon and ur opponent is stuck!

I'd side out the Threatening Roars strictly for Mirror Matches against other GB's and not run it in ur main deck. put the last Waboku in or toss in a Defensive Tactics (I like this card cuz it goes back to the bottom of ur deck). Or you can toss in the 3rd book for more defense. Enemy Controller is nice as well.

I've learned to Side deck Icarus Attack becasue for the most part, fusing my Gyzarus would be ideal for card destruction. although IA can be useful at times. Toss it in if u need that quick destruction.

Gale is interesting in this deck but has proven useful (Yeem's deck in the tourny). So i'd keep it in there for it's effect and it's ability to help you Synchro. Brain Control is good too since you're going to be Synchro with Gale. I personally like Mind Control better since there is no Cost.

I like smashing ground too for cards like Stardust or even Obelisk. and it's useful to clear up a strong monster so your GB can have a clear atk.
