what is this BUG?!?!? 10 points to the identifier!?
here's some pictures. found it in my home in WV. if that matters? the bug is black and in the middle there is a brown stripe. it doesn't have pinchers as far as i can tell.it is kind of a hard shell and no wings. PLEASE!!! what is this bug?

Something called a 'larder beetle', a common household pest.
The wings would be under the hard shell, which splits and separates to reveal them when it flies. The body is too stout for a click beetle (they are long and thin) and most carpet beetles don't have a band of color.

it may be some sort of beetle... but anyways i have some questions and statements for YOU.
1) Why do you need to know in the first place?
2) Sorry but the pictures are way to blurry to identify the insect.
3) well, thats pretty much all I have to say.
