please help very urgent!!?
yesterday my dog barked very weirdly. when we opened the door to see what happened he ran inside! when we tried to go near him he would run away or at least try, because his back legs weren't functioning right, and he would stagger and his hind-legs would collapse. when we got him back outside he went straight to under our shed and didn't get out for a full twenty four hours at lleast. when i finally coaxed him to come out from under there, i gave him plenty of food and water, but his legs were still unreliable and shaky. he even acts sometimes like he doesn't know where he is!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!! I LOVE THIS DOG SO MUCH, but we dont have a lot of money, so i would like to know if there is anything we can do?

Maybe run your hands along his legs to see if his legs feel irregular. He probably yelped when he got hurt. If it does feel strange, possible something wrong with the bones. Possibly the tendons. But there is a good chance it's hip dysplasia, which is common in certain breeds like rottweiler or lab. you can't really do much...take him to the vet...while waiting let him rest on a soft pillow, it should help cushion a bit..

This dog is having serious neurological problems. Take him to a vet ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!! At the very least, he could have a back problem, possibly a herniated disc. But if he's also confused and dazed, something else is going on, possibly in his brain. Could he have been poisoned or gotten into anything? Could he have eaten a toxin of any sort? Did you use any chemicals on the lawn lately? Dogs hide when they are injured or sick as a form of protection. Please, call a vet!!!!!

If you don't have $50 to take him to the vet, and you really love him that much, then instead of letting him suffer, contact your local SPCA or Humane Society to surrender him & at least you'll know he'll get the care he urgently needs

This sounds like a serious condition, but we can't diagnose him online! He needs to be seen by a vet ASAP.
