can i offer layaway system if I sell cellphones?

Thats a difficult one it sounds like a good idea but you would need to seek legal advice and create terms and condition for example how many days will the person purchasing have to pay and for how long?. Go to the site I have listed below it talks about a layawy plan which is good for people who can't pay upfront, but you need to be careful of whether you are going to charge interest on the item they are laying away. There are many factors whats if the person is not able to pay in the specific time say for example one month what next?. Seek legal advice on how you are going to operate your terms and condition and wording of your contract you don't want a law case on your hands. I understand your generousity bit you could leave yourself at risk for trying to help others.I would also see if there are any blogs or articles out there with the subject laway system or plan.
