Believers and non believers, what is your definition of God?

he is a non existant superior being,created by man.

a thing created to explain natural phenomena by early man.

in first civilisations,some one to give offerings to for good deeds.

in religion,created to instill fear into the masses.be good or face his wrath.

a power base for the churches basically.

oh and someone who people can blame for things going wrong.

and praise when things are going right.

and...thats all i have

The closest definition that I could accept is everything, sort of a collective of all existing energy and matter as one. This collective does not have a singular conscious, but is by definition all-powerful, and all-knowing.

I believe this is close to Pantheism.

God is sovereign and reserves the right to respond to any prayer He pleases. in undemanding words until eventually we are in a covenant courting with Him by potential of religion in Jesus Christ, we haven't any foundation to assume God will hear us. Neither do Christians have a reason to assume God will hear them, until eventually they ask in faith. Well, my definition of god would be an unsupported comforting hypothesis based on faith with no good reasons or evidence to back it up.

God = energy
