What is the best language learning audio book? (For German/Swiss German)?
I am looking to learn German. I have taken a year of german classes already, but I haven't used it in a couple of years. I am looking to recap it and hopefully learn it fluently eventually. I would like answers from people who have actually used whatever they are promoting, not just something copied and pasted from a review site.. I have done the review thing already!

I think you'd be happy with Rosetta Stone. If you're a student or teacher, you might be able to get an academic version of it. The military pretty much has free access to it (it's like $5).
I tried a few lessons in German, found the first ones rather too basic, thinking of getting the second before I go to Switzerland this summer. I'm not sure you'll find it in Swiss German, since that's not really standardized.
Something else I find very valuable is watching movies in German. There aren't a LOT available on DVD, but some are out there. Try "The Lives of Others" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0405094/). I know it's available in the US. I will usually watch it first in German with English subtitles, switch and then try it in German/German.
Right now I also have the luxury of practicing a bit each day with my Swiss exchange student.
Viel Gluck!

Rosetta Stone has a good product. It doesn't require you to "memorize" phrases (much like you had to in school) You just have to be careful where you purchase it. I wouldn't buy it from one of those mall vendors. Next thing you know, you have 5,000 telemarketer calls a day.
