Suitable birthday gift?

yeah it does depend on the girl but i would say you pretty much can't go wrong with a nice and pretty necklace something that does not look cheap, if you get her something from Tiffany's, even better and a dozen roses!, because trust me that will make her heart melt. But only you know if youre girl is the type that would rather have concert tickets or a $50 gift certificate to abercrombie or something totally different, you could try asking one of her best friends just don't tell them what youre getting her or they will tell her : ) !

You could surprise her by having gourmet cookies delivered to her house. (I love getting surprises in the mail! I used to love it when my husband sent me gifts when we were dating.) Then you'd show up that evening with a bouquet of flowers and take her to dinner! That really depends on the girl my friend. She might like a ring or a beautiful perfume or a tattoo and a new skateboard.

if all else fails, go with chocolates and flowers and write down your feelings on a card... it could be something simple... but if you elaborate a bit she would really like that. i am a girl and i love for my loved one to express his feelings to me.... nothing makes me happier!

other ideas... a cd she really likes, plus the card thing with your feelings. the point is to get her something she will like and also tell her how you feel. she will be a happy girl!

or take her out to a nice dinner where you both dress up. that would be fun and romantic.
