I've had an ipod but my old computers hard drive fried and now I cant change or add music to ipod 4th gen.?
I just recently had my laptop hard drive fry on me and now i'm using the schools comp to access my ipod. My old comp was a pc and the schools is a apple. I read about that the two were not compatible so I restored my ipod now it's wiped clean ugh! I still need to deauthorize the fried comp and access my purchased downloads. How can I do both from the apple?

You're going to have a hard time, unfortunately. Apple generally doesn't let you redownload purchased music. Try contacting iTunes Support - http://ipod.about.com/od/itunesproblems/qt/itunes_... - and see if they can help you. Sometimes they will.
To de-authorize the old computer, you'll either need to add a new hard drive, reinstall windows and itunes, and then de-authorize, or see if iTunes support can help on that, too.

Thats absoultely not true.Apple will most certainly let you redownload the music.You just have to go to the store where you got the music if you got it from the itunes store and then you just donwload it again and its on record that you purchased it already and it will just download it all over again.Same as apps but you dont have a touch so that doenst matter.
