Are dollar coins worth anything?

That's legal tender, and banks aren't hobbyists. You'll get a dollar each for them.

No. The Susan B. Anthony dollar is still worth only a dollar. It wasn't well accepted by the public, so most of the ones that were minted are still available from the mint!

My sweetie and I visited the Old Mint in San Francisco, which was being operated as a museum (it's closed now). They had a shop there where they sold special commemorative coins, some of silver, some solid gold (very expensive). And they had a package with all three Susan B. Anthony dollars from the three years they were made. The GF wanted one and asked how much they were. The sales person looked at her blankly and said 'Three dollars.' 8^) It made me laugh.

yes they do since you have two dollar coins that would be 2 dollars. so the answer would be no. because i had a a dollar coin from either the 70's or 80's sorry

teee heeee. The 70's were not THAT long ago. What did you retrieve them from an archeological dig? I would hazard a guess that your coins are worth two dollars.
