Death of an Estranged Father in California?
My father is estranged from the family, left when we were 4 & 7 years old. I know he is still alive and that he has a government worker taking care of him in California because he is disabled. When he dies, who takes care of the expenses? Or does the state take him and his house?

If he has a will the estate will get what he has but if not the state will take it for any expenses they incur.~
