I dressed as a prostitute for Halloween. Is that something to be ashamed of?

as the saying goes... it's the ldest prfession in the world... and some prostitutes in the higher class in history have been shakers and movers( literally and figuratively) a courtesan actually at one time controlled the pope... yes popes has mistresses just like kings and queens...( yes queens kept lovers as well) rome itself was funding majorly in part to taxes on prostitutes.. a few emperors even turned out thier children/wives/concubines as prostitutes... in china, and alot of asian countries.. business was done in brothels... why? cuz the wife at home was not part of anything and brothels in nicer ones were home to good food, good entertainment.. street walking, hooking, turning tricks, prostitution exists everywhere... there swingers parties call girls.... look its a business.. the famous bunny ranch?? ( nevada) if prostitution was made legal it would actuall be a more safer and taxable income which america could use...( too bad uptight people and religious people would get panties in a twist) and men no matter what they say pay either for sex or indirectly for it.. case in point? are u gonna gonna put out for a guy who didnt wine and dine u?? get u something nice?? no way ! men marry someone so they can get regular sex! and thats paying half of all u owe! ( side note here.. u've heard of supply and demand right... if men didnt need it.. prostitution wouldnt exist)

just the way it works be proud u came up with a more imaginative costume and a sexy one... better than thw witches, twilight crap.

btw u might want to dress up as a mistress.... all kings had them:) ( mary boleyn anne boleyns sister started her career off as the mistress to louis in france and to king henry himself.. before he married her sister)(lousie de valere( wrong spelling probably) was the favorite of the sun king of france)

i've never sold my body .. but i sure havent given it for free either... it's the ones who give it away for nothing who are the true dirty ones. be glad u have the confidence to do it! prostitution at one time was the only job a woman could have that payed a decent wage... in comparision to the backbreakign work of housecleaning( no modern stuff remember) laundry( no machines and detergent that didnt make hands raw didnt exists yet) and men didnt let women work in alot of feilds.. it's male dominated thinking to think that prostituion is wrong.. as long as it pays the bills and u keep clean just like any other job.

Prostitutes are effortless clothes. As for cops and nurses, the dress organizations lead them to appear trashy, sooooo...... My pal dressed up as a hooker and attempted to get me to considering her husband was once the pimp (ewww). I dressed up as a mother taking her youngsters to a nontoxic halloween occasion in our the city.

Of course not. It's just play and not for real right? If someone's making any sort of a deal out of it, they really need to lighten up!

After all, if someone dresses as a bank robber or the devil, do we really think that's who they are.
