So I know its early in the season, but so far which offseason pickup has proved most valuable for their team?

None of our offseason pick ups are doing that well, actually! It really stinks. By the way my team is the Braves.

One of our offseason pick ups is utility man Eric Hinske. A good utility guy who can actually hit. I'm glad we got him because last season we had the worst hitter in the world - Greg Norton. If youre not a Braves fan you probably don't know who he is. He could never hit. He's now the hitting coach for the Marlins AAA team. I'm telling you, they must have been drunk when they hired him.

Bur back to Hinske - he had 2 RBI today, I think, he's been doing really good. I'm glad we have a utility gut who can actually hit!!

Edit: I misread your question. I thought it said "has proved most valuble for your team" but the "your" is really "their"! For other teams I'd say Roy Halladay of the Phillies.

    In the MLB:

Probably Halladay for the Phillies. Halladay will change ANY team, haha.

For my team (the Red Sox):

Marco Scuatro. He has had some good defense and has done a great job filling the leadoff spot with Jacoby Ellsbury on the DL. I knew Marco would be a great pickup, and I'm so glad he's been showing it :D

  • Curtis Granderson for the Yanks has done well so far( Though he's been in a bit of a slump lately) But overall i would have to say Roy Halladay for the Phillies.

Brad Penny of the Cardinals....3-0 with a 0.94 era

I cant answer this question because the Chicago Cubs didnt make any offseason moves and they got worse.

I think it's Scott Podsednik of the Royals.

He's going under the radar but he was a big bargain. I'll take a .359 batting average any day.
