i upset the girl that liked suggestions?

i was teasing this girl that i like.. (she used to like me donno if she still does..) but anyway the situation is, i know she loves john mayer so on one of her friends update i made a comment that another artist is better than John mayer.. she argued back... i thought she was joking with me (from my perspective in the past she's always seemed like a fun and happy person) it turns out she just stops reply to me... so i figured that she might have taken it serious.. what should i do without appearing to be a jerk about it... ?
