He pins a Black 1 on two of the persons backs and a white 1 on the remaining person.
NO ONE CAN SEE THEIR OWN BADGE, only the other two.,
Then says "The first person to tell me what color badge they have gets the job."
After a couple of seconds one person announces."I have a white one"

The first person knows the second person has a black badge.
The first person knows the third person has a black badge
The first person thinks he can have a white badge or a black badge.
The second person sees the first person with a white badge.
The second person sees the third person with a black badge.
The second person thinks he can have a white badge or a black badge.
The third person sees the first person with a white badge.
The third person sees the second person with a black badge.
The third person thinks he can have a white badge or a black badge.
The first person knows that the other two people can't see two white badges.
The first person knows that the other two people have to see at least one black badge.
The first person knows that if he had a black badge, the other two people would see the same thing as him, and this test would be impossible to solve.
The first person knows that he has to have a white badge and says,"I have a white one"

The person could see the remaining 2 badges, 1 of each colour, then he saw the other 2 black badges on the other people. Therefore his badge was white.

Lucky guess. Or he used the other people's black badges as a mirror. It might have been a setup.

Was his answer correct? did he get the job? If yes,, well that 's because when he saw the other 2 with the black he guessed his would be white. Or.. he might be wrong.

he got the job because he was the first one to say anything therefore using hiis initative therefore getting him the job he didn't nessercarily have the whiote one on his back
