Why do people think 360s are better than ps3s?

It's pretty obvious that ps3s are better. 
The Graphics are practically the same. Although on the game exclusives, Uncharted 2 Graphics are pretty insane on the PS3.
Blu-ray is better than HD-DVD (not that the 360 actually has hd-dvd)
The PS3 has twice as much processing power (8 cell cores compared to 3 Xeon Processors)
The controller layout is the same, just the analogue sticks have been swapped with directional pads.
Xbox live costs money wear as PSN is free. (I've played both and the work exactly the same but less laggy on mw2 on the ps3). And hackers can't hack the ps3 and cheat on games which ruins the fun and the point of the game.
360's have a 54% Failure rate known as the Red Ring of Death and the ps3 has a 0.5% faliure rate.
PS3's have built in wifi adapters which really come in handy instead of spending $50 on an external wifi adapter. 
Bluetooth is a handy feature with headsets, so you can buy a cheap third party headset and it will work with the ps3.
The PS3 actually has an internet browser.
The Game Exclusives are better on the PS3 according to the amount of awards PS3 exclusives have earned compared to 360s. (Halo 3 is not better than Killzone 2).
They both look like nice consoles however the 360 has the annoying big adapter thing.
In price overall, they both sell at around the same price

Now i don't want any 360 fanboys answering this question with a response "coz the 360 just is".

I want to know why people think xbox is soo much better than ps3!?

PS3 has way better graphics than xbox because ps3 has blue ray and xbox doesnt!

people say xbox has better connection, but it doesnt, they are the same, the reason is because xbox forces you to run on ethernet, and ethernet causes better connection than wifi. but the thing is, ps3 runs on ethernet AND wifi, your choice, so if you cant use ethernet, you cant play xbox live, but if you have a ps3, just use wifi!

alright, stop saying "XBOX IS BETTER BECAUSE WE GOT THE MAP PACKS FIRST!!!" wrong. xbox is freakin GREEDY!!! all they care about is money! infinity ward planed to have them out the first day, but microsoft paid IW to give it to them first.

xbox is also greedy because you have to pay monthly for live! how stupid is that?!?! ps3 is 100% FREEE!!! booya!

xbox, is full, of hacking! in xbox you get in hacked mw2 games sooo much more than ps3! its not even funny!

heres some math: "Xbox360 + R = Broken". what does "R" equal? 3 words, RED RING OF DEATH. ok, maybe thats 4 words. xbox brakes soo much! and i want to agree with @DcRider_7 for saying: "I'm fine with waiting 30 or however many more days than xbox users for the maps. I would rather wait on maps than console repairs. After my 3rd bad 360 i switched to a ps3. Haven't had a problem with it yet. I'll think about goin back to microsoft once they figure out how to build a stable system." xbox is CRAPP!

i hope you read all my reasons and think about them.

The graphics difference between 360 and PS3 games is often negated entirely by the fact that games are developed multi-platform - and therefore cater to the lowest common denominator (360, in this case) so all that fancy processing power that the ps3 has is wasted.

Also, the 8 cell processor in the PS3 is terribly exotic and therefore unattractive to developers. A game engineered to take advantage of the PS3's architecture simply won't work on another platform without some serious modification. The 360, conversely, is very similar to a PC in terms of development.

Simply put, developers will make more games for the 360, and therefore, more people will want to buy it. It's totally got to do with variety - the library of games available on the 360 is much larger than Sony's console.

Possibly because of the popular games you can only play on the 360 like one of the best selling RPG series Fable or the popular shooting series Halo.
