It's absolutely ok to start today. Any day is fine really but after you period ends makes sense. You should check the info that came with your pills to know when you're covered. The ones I used to take said I was safe in a week. 20 years ago we all waited a full month but the dosage is so much more precise now that you should be able to follow whatever the pamphlet says. If you lost that info though you can call the pharmacy and they'll tell you when you're safe. It's still a good idea to use a condom.

You really should wait two weeks to have unprotected sex, although I will warn you these pills don't work on everyone...thats how I got here. My mother concieved me while on the pill so be careful. Good luck to ya! : )

Hun you're already having your era. beginning your pills now won't supply up it. in basic terms wait till Sunday like your well-being care provider advised you to. remember so you might use them for an entire month till now they'll shelter against being pregnant.
