Working out, steady weight questions?

I've been working out for almost a year now and am currently 147. For the past few months, my weight has been stuck at 147 and for some reason i stopped gaining weight. I do a 4 day workout split, drink protein shakes, rest for 8 hours and eat. Recently however, i noticed that my mid section belly is getting fatter but i'm not gaining weight. My muscle mass i don't think is growing. So i started to do some cardio because i don't want to develop a fatty mid section which is just unattractive. So what should i do here? Why have i stopped gaining weight? Oh yeah and also i change up my routine about every month so i don't think that's the problem.

Eat many vegetables and pasta- no unhealthy snacks for 60 days. I know you'll live. Do some interval training 5 times a week, 30 minutes a day.Add 2 minutes more each day. You better force yourself to the extreme , don't calm yourself. You can do it. Rock On!!! -try to continue for 2 months, and you'll be ripped).

I would suggest trying something completely different. Do you go to the gym? Maybe get a personal trainer. Maybe cut out the shakes, you know every body is different. Maybe you're body isn't liking the whey, maybe there's a lot of sugar hiding in there. Either way, your metabolism is adapted to your routine even if you change it up. You just need to graduate to a whole other level of working out and exercise. Lift heavy and restrict your diet to really high protein low carb, low fat. Cut out the shakes for awhile, see if that helps. Or, talk to your doctor, maybe you have some insulin thing going. Maybe you're lactose intolerant or allergic to the gluten, or something. I'm not a doc, lol so, i'm not sure whats goin on there. But try developing a whole new (intense) routine. Good luck!
