Having surgery & being on your period?

I'm having surgery Monday, & I just got my period today,

so I know I'll still be on my period the day I have surgery.

(I'm having my gall bladder taken out, if that helps.)

& I was wondering if this would be a problem?

Or if I need to tell my doctor before I have the surgery?

(I don't wear tampons; I only wear pads, & I'm a heavy/moderate bleeder.)

If that helps.

Some Surgeries,It's Okay to Be Bleeding, Some It's Not.
