2 month old wont stop crying...?
She just wont stop, and it's not just crying, she is screaming. I have tried everything I can think of to help her. She doesn't want her bottle, I have tried burping her, holding her in different positions, changing her, swaddling, unswaddling, a nice bath, gas medicine, colic drops, clothes on, clothes off. I have checked her for any scrapes, bumps, bug bites. Please, if any one has more suggestions, please help! She does not have a fever, I checked, three times. Her Dr said she may just be overly tired. So how can I help her fall asleep? She was a preemie, so her adjusted age is two weeks, but chronological age is two months.

Try taking her for a walk in the cool night air (you can try both swaddle and unswaddle). Try wearing her in a moby. Try swaddling her and bouncing on an exercise ball (make sure of course that her head is supported). Try wearing her and running the vacuum cleaner. Try holding her on top of the dryer. If all of this doesn't work then you might want to talk to the doctor about seeing if she has reflux and if so, you might need to change her formula. Good luck!
Oh and we used to pray for our son. We used (and still do when he is upset) to ask God to calm him down and comfort him. I hope that you and your daughter get some relief soon!

Sounds like colic. I'm unexperienced with colicky babies, but try holding your baby with your arm out. It's called the 'colic hold'. My daughter had sleeping problems (she's 6 1/2 mos) and she screams and cries for ages when she is overtired too. Might be just that, depending on how many days/weeks your baby has been like that (i'm sure you would have detected it by now) or if that doesn't work, I'd take her to ER.

Colic Try taking the baby for a ride in the car on a bumpy road and when he falls a sleep come home and let him sleep in is car seat. This will go away but just to make sure there is nothing else wrong take the baby to see his pediatrician. Good Luck Also there are drops at the drug store called Mylicon that the parents might want to try i the formula.

oh you poor love! - she is probably teething! try giving her some teething gel. just a teeny amount around her gums - or maybe give her a drink of water! it wont do her any harm - infact it keeps the bowls moving reguraly and helps with wind and colic! although her milk has all she needs, she might be a bit dry :)
i have 3 daughters and only my middle daughter was content! - my other two were cryers lol - it seemed like they were frustrated or maybe bored or as some people say "over stimulated"
whenevr they had thier crying moments, i used to do a number of things and giving boiled (cool - room temp) water, sometimes of a spoon or in the bottle - sometimes worked wonders! then there were times that wooldnt passify so id wrap up warm (baby too) and go into the fresh air! this would be the last resort mind, but always worked!.... also sing to her :)
take her in different rooms in the house and tell her what room she`s in and who sleeps there etc lol my kids loved that!
does your baby suck on a dummy?? - lol all 3 of mine did - infact, my 4 year old is just about to give hers to the "dummy faries" lol a whole other story :)
anyway goodluck!

sounds like colic....and even though you used colic drops, nothing really helps with colic.
id call her pediatrician and see if they suggest anything. my daughter has colic and does that twice a day for about 30 minutes. i got colic calm. i had to order it online though. it seems to help, but its not a miracle worker.

I agree with another persons answer...
Definitely take your daughter to the ER.... There could be something more wrong than just her being over tired.. Maybe an ear infection. That causes them a lot of pain.
Hope you find your answer...That is so tough to go through.

Have you tried holding her face down, belly along your arm? Like this: http://images.google.ca/images?hl=en&source=imghp&...
It happens, it's nothing to worry about, get Dad or Grandma or an aunt or uncle or friend or somebody to help out if you need it...

just sit and hold her. rock her, whatever you do to put her to sleep. my second son used to do that too. finally we learned to lay him down with his bottle and he stopped. i know you're not supposed to do that, but hey, whatever works right?

Take her to the Emergency Room and let them check her out. Babies don't scream for no reason.
