My personal theory is that I am being blocked because it shows all the classical symptoms e.g format irregular, not responding to commands just red crosses. Can someone explain this phenomena - I'd really appreciate it

Try going to "home" and "all categories" see if you can bring that up, then just try going to different things and see if it will reset itself. hope you get it to working, good luck.
