India produces 80% & there are different varieties so I guess it's what one prefers.
Alphonso, Benishan or Benishaan (Banganpalli in Telugu and Tamil) and Kesar mango varieties are considered among the best mangoes in India's Southern states while Dussehri and Langda varieties are most popular in the Northern states.

India produces the highest no of mangoes but in gujarat region you will get kesar mangoes which are largely exported from talala gir in Junagadh District of gujrat

Philippines! Has the best mangoes, I especially love their nectar mango drinks they taste soooooo good.
