Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and beginning April 20th, 2021 (Eastern Time) the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

Why do I keep seeing at the top of the page, when I've answered a question, a suggestion of a defunct question?

For several days, at the top of the page where they now 'helpfully' provide one with suggested questions, there has been one saying "Rspca can anyone give advice or something?". It must have been deleted almost as soon as it was asked (when I first clicked on it) but it still comes up, every time, and is still deleted. What on earth is the point of this? Why does Yahoo insist on cluttering things up with their entirely pointless suggestions when they don't even exist?

Update:

Thanks to all of you - once again it's a shame I can't split the points. Giving them to joe 'cos he was first.

I get that too. Why are they always messing around with things and making them work even worse than before? I have only just got my ability to star questions back, and now this appears and I can't send emails.

my email is omgjmk@yahoo.com btw. I kind of fancied sending you an email earlier to see how you were but no cookie thanks to the yahoo nerds being more interested in product placement than offering a reliable service.
