when planting a above ground garden do you put a barrier down to stop the weeds from growing up in the garden?

    I've had pretty good luck using the landscape mesh on my raised bed garden. I just roll it out over the entire bed and cut slits where I put my seeds. It will last about three seasons before needing to be replaced.
