Sookie Stackhause: Bill vs Eric Book (spoilers)?
I have a question I'm I the only one who thinks that Eric set up Bill to have Sookie to himself. I think that Eric made Bill tell Sookie the "real" reason why he first started talking to her so he can get with her. I think it was all a plot to see why Bill was really in love with Sookie. I think Bill is really in love with Sookie and Eric is in love with her partially fairy blood. Anyone else feel this way?
The last book near the end screamed to me the reason I believe Eric wants Sookie. To tell you truthfully I wanted Sookie to go out with Alcide but no! I think I know which vampire her Great Grandfather was talking about. Anyways I am on Bill and Sookie team.

I think that you may be partially right... I think it's quite possible that Eric set up Bill, but it doesn't really matter if Eric made him tell or not, because the point is that Bill lied to her about why he was initially interested. Why he told her doesn't change that. Yes, Bill does love her. That's pretty much stated in the books. As for Eric, no I don't think he just loves her because of her fairy blood. I think he loves her because he can't understand her and therefore finds her interesting.

I think Eric wants her purely because Bill does, he always seems to want what Bill has. Sookie will always love Bill more.
