riddle!i guess its easy...?

There is a guy living on the 15th floor of a flat.. Everytime he goes home he uses the elevator till the 8th floor and then he continues by using the stairs to get to his house...Why does he do that?

    Because he is too short to reach the 15th floor button.

    Haven't you forgotten the rain and his umbrella?

    I think he is health conscious and wants to walk up the rest of the stairs for exercise.

    He is not tall enough to reach beyond the 8th button in the lift.
