how do you get your 2 month old child to sleep at night by his self?
i am breast feeding n he likes to sleep by me.

I'm breastfeeding as well and my son still likes to sleep by me too but usually I can move him when he's done and completely out, then he'll stay asleep for 3-4 hours till he's hungry again. My doctor said it's ok if he wakes up to eat not all babies are the same and sleep completely through the night and he's 7 months old.

You can try using a used (not dirty) muslin as a soother. It will smell of you so will comfort baby and is breathable so not dangerous.
