Is local and non-organic better than organic from hundreds of miles away?
I understand that both local and organic is best, but that is not the question.

Depends on what the two dairies are like. But probably the local is better.

It depends, if you are talking anything that had a GMO counter part organic is better than local every time and this includes meat-it is better to eat Organic meat from far away than locally raised conventional/factory farmed meats.
But economically it is better to buy from local sources than corporate out of the area sources.
Local and Organic is best, of course
