Cervical abnormalities usually move very slowly, so if you've had a normal pap anytime in the last few years, its very unlikely you have cerivcal cancer. But let me tell you about the pap: it's not a test for cervical cancer. Yes, it will find cancer, but what they are really looking for is PREcancer. Cervical precancer is fairly simply treatment by removing a small piece of your cervix. So even if your pap isn't normal, that doesn't mean you have cancer or will get cancer. So just relax. You are fine.
