What are kids taught in high school?

After being on this site for two months I am amazed about how dumb some people are. I constantly see questions from kids or young adults asking about;

1. how much do I have to pay for going through a stop sign?

2. what is the punishment for larceny?

3. my friend (always you friend) got in trouble for being in the park too late. What will happen to him?

Hello? Are kids not aware that we have fifty states? Do they not know that each state has its own laws and system of justice? Or are they not taught that in school?

Then I see this from people.

1. I got a TEWQAJ yesterday what will happen?

2. I applied for YTBICQ. What are my chances?
