is it ok to put gel eyeliner on your waterline?

i use pencil eyeliner even waterproof pencil eyeliner but it either fades or smudges and i hear that people use gel eyeliner on their waterline. i have a gel eyeliner from coastal sents that i use on my lash line but i want to know if it is ok to use on the waterline also and if it works better than pencil eyeliner

You can put it on your waterline, but you might feel a burning sensation first and it won't stay on too much and it will definetley smudge. instead of putting it on your waterline, put it on your upper near lashline as closest to the lashline as possible. just use a good waterproof eyeliner PENCIL. a good waterproof eyeliner pencil that i use are the milani eyeliner pencils. they're $5...you can get them at CVS or walgreens. i got it at CVS. hope this helped. good luck!
